About Ann

Ann Anderson
Art has always been foremost in Ann’s interest and desire. Her education did not include formal training in the arts. Much later in life, after retirement, Ann began to take art classes at the Arkansas Arts Center. While there, she studied watercolor with Selma Blackburn and participated in a workshop with international watercolorist, Mel Stabin. Her passion for art led to a new medium. Ann began working in oils with instruction from German artist Guido Frick and Little Rock impressionist Barry Thomas. Her work can be seen in Little Rock at Local Colour Gallery and in Heber Springs, AR, at Salon/Art.
