Brenda Hogan

Brenda Hogan has been involved in the design and art world as an interior designer since 1966 and has owned her own design business since 1975. She has done design projects in 11 of the lower 48 states. She has always striven to guide her clients to good design that will withstand the test of time. She has also applied this principle to her art.

For the last 4 years Brenda has divided her time between her design business, which she is still involved in, and developing her skills as an artist.

She has studied with such nationally known artists as Albert Handel, Barry Thomas, Kitty Wallis and Guido Frick.

Brenda loves to travel and has done so extensively. She keeps photographic records as well as sketches from which to capture subjects she wishes to paint.  Her recent flower paintings were inspired by a trip to the Georgia O’Keefe Museum in Santa Fe. She also does a great deal of plein aire painting in an endeavor to capture the light and charm of nature.
